FIONA NIXON, LIFE FELLOW

STUDIO NvS is proud to announce that Director Fiona Nixon has been elevated to Life Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Architects—the highest honour class for practicing architects. The life fellowship was awarded by the National Council for “contribution to the advancement of the profession through design, construction, advocacy and urban design.” Fiona started working in architecture in 1989, and has enjoyed a 35-year career designing and delivering projects across Australia and Asia in the cultural, hospitality and workplace sectors. In parallel with practice she has taught at RMIT, NUS and Melbourne University, served on the Victorian and International Chapter Councils and been an architectural commentator for Architecture Australia, Artichoke and Singapore Architect Magazines.
